The last days where really exciting because we had a wonderful exhibition in our studio. I showed my latest work: a silkscreen print and my present sketchbook.
After a lot of delightful drawing time during the Fumetto Festival in Lucerne I got back into the plain black and white image. I as well started banning the pencil from my sketchbook lately what made an huge impact on my digital drawing. The last days where occupied by self initiated editorial work, what I really enjoyed working on.
This is a piece I did for an article about the original thoughts of feminism and nowadays beauty ideals.
I went a bit deeper in digital painting and made an Illustration for the folk-tale The Aged Mother.
I enjoyed the working process really much, although I am not sure now if I will take this style further in the future. This is the fun thing about drawing: if you are open, you can always find something unexpected around the corner.
So happy! We moved to our new studio, so now there is plenty of room for new work, more art and finally RISO again. Come around or visit our Website: www.ochdoch.de
